OUR MISSION
The Gifford Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to the stewardship of the funds entrusted to its care by Rosamond Gifford in 1954. The Foundation is committed to using its financial and human resources to build the capacity of individuals and organizations to enhance the quality of life for the people of Central New York.
APPLYING FOR GRANTS
You may apply for a grant by invitation only, but we welcome the opportunity to talk with any organization interested in submitting a proposal - or even to talk with you if you are just exploring ideas. Due to our limited staff resources, we ask that you first complete a Grant Inquiry Form by clicking HERE. You will be called by our office to schedule a telephone or office meeting. Designing Healthy Communities

"What If..." Film Series - Spring 2012
The titles, dates and times for the Spring 2012 "What If..." Film Series have been announced. These free screenings of films celebrating community revitilization and engagement are being held between March 6 and April 16 at ArtRage Gallery, 505 Hawley Avenue in Syracuse.
